(I'll just get myself into this one, since it's still earlier and not like anything big has built up here yet. I need an excuse to do something with Competer and since Lissa's using his roommate... why not?)
Sundays were a perfect type of day for someone like Competer. The week was so full of deadlines and obligations; forms to fill out and projects to hand in and just general bustling about. Pete has no problem with busying himself with things, so long as they involved rolling some dice or shuffling some cards. Multi-tasking on assignments was not his preferred kind of bustling, so lazy afternoons like today, with nowhere to be and nothing to do, were really enjoyable. Wandering aimlessly around the commons, he looked for something fun to occupy his free time, while saying his hellos and sharing friendly remarks with those he crossed paths with.
Eventually, he floated his way towards a large, rather comfy looking chair in one particular corner of the room, where an androgynous figure (after knowing them for several weeks, Competer had yet to decide whether they looked like a slightly masculine female or a mildly feminine male, not that it mattered) with their nose buried in a book. The monitor-faced boy cracked a smile at the sight of the candy kid, with whom he had become decently friendly.
Peering over their shoulder, Pete sneaked a peek at the massive amounts of text covering the pages of his roommate's book. "'Cha readin', Scotch?" he asked casually.
