Didn't know what you met by talk page so figured I do it here anyways names TallTalesfan20 but my real name is Jordan, whatever you prefer, and guess you could say that I'm an acquaintance of sorts to Draculara.Clawd for she was the one who told me about this wika before I resigned from the Monster High fandom wikia, I've been on this wikia since 2017 and I made plenty of Ocs plus categories and two roleplays during my time here, but that's not what I'm messaging you about, you see I was wondering if you could do art of some of my Ocs you don't have to do all of them, one at a time could work for I'm sure you got other responsibilities and I won't force you or anything, so let me know when you get the chance thanks.
Hiya! I've heard 'round the block.. And 'round.. and 'round.. That you're pals with Lissa and Pichu (OfaBetterName), and they.. actually both convinced me to bring my butt here and share my creativities, of which there are few (about three as of this message). I know 'em both personally, and like a doormat I caved in and joined, eventually.
So I think that's all! I'm usually referred to as Rei, but call me Aria if that suits your needs better! I'll be happy to continue making new dorks here for as long as I'm able!
I haven't been super duper active on this wiki for a while, but I'd still enjoy talking to you from time to time, if I happen to be around. Anyone who's friends with Lissa and Pichu sounds like a cool person to me!
Can't wait 'til you post some more characters on here!
I'unno how your days have been, but just wanted to say: My pal Jay really loved the compliments you gave them on TED's page! I also showed them your Pixels and Polygons cover / chapter nine art, and they said your style was super cute. ^^ Thought you'd like knowing!
Oh gosh, you do not know how flattered that makes me feel right now. I'm glad Jay likes my art and my silly, gushing compliments. Tell them I look forward to meeting them, whenever they decide they're ready to start putting up their own OCs. I probably still be lurking around by then.
That's fine, don't worry. It's the thought that counts. And honestly, I can understand why it slipped your mind. It's been like... A couple months or so since I've done any serious contributing to this wiki. I've mostly just been lurking.
I've recently made a new character, Curlz, and I was wondering if maybe you could have a look at them and we could see what character relations they could have with yours? I've got some ideas myself if you don't mind hearing them.
(Sorry it took me so long to respond, I'm usually kind of removed from technology after Christmas.)
Yes, I noticed her a couple weeks ago and she looks pretty cool! Really cute, especially for a little skelly. I'm not really that knowledgeable about Undertale, though, aside from some very basic facts (the skeletons are named after fonts, there's only one human character, the villain is a manipulative evil flower, etc.), so I'm not sure I can make many game-based connections as far as relationships go.
If you wouldn't mind, lemme hear some of your ideas before I suggest my own. ^^
No worries! I completely understand being busy over the holidays, I was pretty busy myself over my vacation. Although I totally advocate for playing Undertale because all I'm gonna say is that it's a completely amazing experience, even better if done un-spoiled
Anyways, ideas I have: For one, I can definitely see Curlz being friends with Lucinda-- the fact that she wears a gas-mask, and therefore, hides much of her human appearance, would comfort Curlz greately, along with her generally cheery personality... Perhaps Curlz could have, out of curiosity, wanted to try the goggles... but.... they might have had quite the effect on this skelly. The sort of effect that makes you think 'mistakes have been made'.
Since EPP is not a human, Curlz would already feel more comfortable with them than with others. The peacekeeping is also a plus... I can imagine Curlz giving EPP plenty of tidbits about human culture! ... Never mind that much of what she knows is based on what is believed to be human history in her game, which is mostly anime and manga. She also wouldn't mind giving details about other things, such as her powers, as long as EPP doesn't... delve too much into certain... mechanics of her game. Mechanics she doesn't quite like thinking about often. Characters denying things seems to be a theme with me, doesn't it.
Given Curlz's admiration for a rather showy robot celebrity from her game, I can see this extending to Competer and being drawn to him due to some similar mannerisms. Her game has some slight mini-games, the battle system itself could qualify as a sort of one, but an entire game based on various games might fascinate her! She might sometimes push involving some sort of mini-game involving bones-- because, really who could go wrong with bones! Everyone likes bones. Everyone. Curlz is positive about this. She also likes history, so she likely wouldn't mind his rambling about some history of a game. .., However, his habit of explaining things would be a pet peeve to her, not so much because of the obviousness of it as much as it feels like he's repeating something someone had told her before... ( Aka, Curlz's alternate persona, Quilted Butterfly, does provide some internal narration for Curlz).
I already have her as being friends with Archel, the daughter of Archie the Team Aqua leader, and Curlz has managed to not see her as a threat... perhaps Maxime might take interest in Curlz because there is a place in her world called Hotland and, well, surely this place would be interesting for research purposes. However, Curlz genuinely thinks that, someway, Maxime and Archel could become friends! Really, she has the perfect plan for this that in now way could backfire into hilarity ensuing.
Curlz might be intimidated by Arthur at first, but only because of his human appearance... Once she gets into the more un-human characteristics, however, she'd feel much more comfortable... However, in her world, monsters aren't bad (she is one in her game, after all), so she might be offensive to him and not understand why in her attempts at befriending him, and accidentally demean him in her attempts to befriend him... Although, she does sometimes have bakery items she could bribe him with to be friends.
On one hand, Curlz could become friends with Quincy once she becomes more comfortable around him, given that she enjoys writing-- perhaps she might encourage him to illustrate her stories! ... However, with Curlz's own stubbornness and childish nature, I can also see them getting into conflicts, which for the both of them could be hectic (Rosey, being friends with both of them, might try to act as a mediator)... however, seeing as how Curlz also likes to wait until things blow over, they might be able to stay friends anyways despite their disagreements.
Curlz, while able to fight, isn't the sort to desire sparing, so she'd be understanding of Edward's more cowardly nature (although her appearance as a skeleton might be a little 'spooky' at first). She herself also likes literature, and loves to write! ... Her talent is, err, more... debatable in quality, and she's so eager to hear feedback, that, well... perhaps it might be a bit hard to tell her that her writing might need a little tweaking. A lot of little tweaking. At least her heart's in the right place...?
Seeing as how she dislikes Aota as a potential to-be assassin, this also extends to Ten, although it's likely that she wouldn't influence them much in her disapproval. Worse for her is that, their poetry is very good! Perhaps, rather reluctantly, Curlz could agree to help Ten with their humor in exchange for them helping Curlz with poems... although... Curlz's humor is rather confusing to most, so Ten might end up with more questions than they started with.
Curlz would have a... complicated relationship with Andromeda. She does swear that they're friends! She could ask Andromeda for some french tips because she wants to befriend the Outfielder (although Andromeda always seems to decline...?) Since Curlz is girly as well, she'd want to hear all about where she gets her looks! Curlz would eagerly give what she knows about human culture... although, as stated above, this might be... slightly misinformed. In return, Curlz could ask about that research she sees her doing, only to be confused when Andromeda denies it and seems to clam up about it. ... However, should Andromeda try to go too far with her questioning as she might with Rosey, Quilted Butterfly would give her a very stern warning, one of the only occasions Quilted Butterfly would take control instead of subconsciously affecting Curlz. She loses her irsis, her eye sockets now appearing black. Unlike Curlz, Quilted Butterfly knows Andromeda is up to something... Basically, don't do anything to Curlz. In fact, don't even think of touching her world, or... well, Quilted Butterfly summarizes that she would be in for a very 'unpleasant experience'. As soon as Curlz is her usual self, she wouldn't remember a thing about what happened just then with Quilted Butterfly. She offers to let Andromeda know anything she'd want to know-- she's always happy to answer!
Since Curlz is a skeleton, and Hank is tormented by Skeletron... Her appearance could serve as a very unhappy reminder for him. Curlz, however, wanting to befriend everyone even if they're humans, would think this has something to do with her, and might continue to try and befriend him. She might offer to help him with magic. ... She only really knows bone magic but magic all the same! ... Perhaps sometimes seeing him struggle with Skeleton might make Quilted Butterfly wonder about if she's like that to Curlz, since the persona did come out of Curlz's suffering, after all.
Finally, Curlz could annoy Molly very much, from Curlz's girly appearance to her fascination with celebrities from other games, which by extension would include the squid idols... Curlz might not get the hint that she doesn't appreciate the questions, and might have ruined quite a number of outfits from her pestering. She couldn't even find herself to be intimidated by Molly, since she's not quite a human and Curlz is much more comfortable by more of the un-human students. Even worse than that, Curlz can't tell a joke to save her life! ... Perhaps, rather reluctantly, Molly might tolerate her only because apparently Curlz trains under afish captain of the royal guard , and knowing some of what Curlz has apparently learned may prove to be useful... It doesn't seem to make sense as to why they're cooking until she learns first-hand why those who know Curlz very well insist they cook.
... Ah, sorry, this turned into a big wall. I have other ideas for students that I haven't quite published on the wiki yet, would you want a heads-up for them once they're on the wiki so we can discuss future relationships? I don't want to bother you if you don't want me making a comment every time I post a new wiki page.
I just haaapened to make a new character, Rosey Steiff , if you want to check them out! I was hoping that we could maybe discuss any characters you'd want her to be friends/nemeses with? Also, she has a free roomie spot open if you wanna fill that.
Oh, thanks for mentioning that! I hadn't been checking my Wiki feed for the weekend and didn't see her get made. I'll take a look at her now and then get back to you later on anyone I think might be a good friend/foe/roommate/relation for her.
Okay, here's my read of the situation. Rosey seems like a kind of friendly, perky girl, despite her insecurities about delving to deeply into herself. That alone enough to tell me that Lucinda Incendiary would probably like her. I mean, no one in my group is more perky than Lucy. Plus, given the mysteries surrounding her... parent that never seem to get solved, she's fine with a lack of self exploration. And, since she tends to like cute animals, an adorable bear-themed girl would be right up her alley!
As for other people, I'd say that Andromeda Roswell might fit under nemeses, even if she acts like a friend. The alien likes finding out information about species her race hasn't yet conquered, and the Persona-verse is kind of a blind spot for her. She could spend her time asking Rosey questions about her world, what their defenses are, the mechanics of her game, maybe an awkwardly large helping of soul-searchy queries as well, just to make her uncomfortable. Of course, she'd hide her true intentions by claiming all this was just simple interest and nothing more.
Aside from those two, I dunno who else to include. You can come up with other ideas, but those are my main ones.
80!! I really like what you suggested, and I'll be sure to put those!
I was also looking at your other characters, and I came up with these relationship ideas:
Maaybe her and EPP would be... ambiguous? Rosey would be more than happy to give information about personas, what her world is like, how you make a good pun, ect. ... It's just the questions about shadows that would have Rosey more than a little uncomfortable, and she'd likely dance around the issue.
I think Quincy and her would get along swimmingly, since they're both pretty friendly. I can imagine Rosey asking for some clay figures of certain toys... only to get more than she bargained for when they come to life.
Aaand maybe her and Molly would slowly become friends? Rosey would be naturally intimidated by her mature nature, but perhaps they might find they have more in common than they thought, particularly through puns (and who's to say that Rosey wouldn't like J-pop music)... and maybe Rosey could relate to the whole 'being your own person' thing, given her own origins. Perhaps they could even be roommates?
Apology accepted, though I have to apologize too for not being around. LEGO Dimensions has taken over my life and I haven't touched my computer all day because of it.
Yes, we can totally discuss other character relationships! I have no idea where to start on this topic, however, so if you have ideas, lay 'em on me and I'll spin mine off from there. Tell me what kind of relationships are on your mind!
No problem- I know that feeling of getting totally sucked into a video game. 8p
So, first off, with Aota:
She has a similar rebellious streak and desire to be a dare-devil like Melanie, so maybe the two often dare and try to one-up each other in various stunts... that may or may not end up with various acts of property damage.
I think I mentioned this before, but I think Ten and Aota are foils to each other. For one, they're pretty much opposites in personality, and even in battling styles they differ heavily. Given that they're both going to be assassins, maybe they'd both be rivals to each other, since Ten can't be the best if there's someone showing them up, right?
Both of those sound like something I can work with, especially the latter. Also, I recently realized that Ashly Burch, Aota's face claim, does voice work for Ten's home game (as Tiny Tina, in Borderlands 2), so I could use that connection for jokes.
As for other character relationships... Well, I've been thinking for a while that old Shifty Boots might be on the fence regarding Archel. On the one hand, he would like her for the sake of having another pirate at school. On the other, he's scared of Honey due to her pirating skills and physical prowess, so he might be intimidated by Archel too.
And maybe Duplicity and M could be friends? I don't know, they're both shy and somewhat insecure; they seem like a good match for one another. And they both (sorta) shapeshift, so they'd have that in common. They could have pity parties together and when they're done wallowing, they could go off and do something fun to take their minds off it.
80!!! I didn't think of that for Aota! ... And in all honesty, some of the things Tiny Tina would proubably be things Aota would totally say too.
I like both of the relationships you suggested!
I was also thinking that Andromeda Roswell would have a strange interest in M? Given their desire to destroy worlds, maybe she might be a touch interested in M's more... potential reality-destroying powers.
Also how could I have never thought of this but: Archel would totally want to hang around Molly. Because squid... and also maybe saying that her plan to flood the world is totally a great plan to save the environment, right? Nevermind the whole sea-creature bias she's getting here.
Also, I'm sure that Arthur and M would relate to each other very much! What with the both of them constantly nervous about what could go wrong, especially because of them. Because of this, M would be interested in the more 'normal' traits of Arthur, knowing that what the both of them want is to not be treated like a walking disaster zone.
I, unfortunately, do not have a Skype account. I'd been thinking about investing in one, since one of my friends recently moved and I have no other way of contacting her, but I don't own one yet. I've got email though, if that's worth anything. You can send me an email instead of having us spam each other's message walls. Or we can use the wiki Live Chat, if you want. Whatever's fine.
Also, expect many edits in the future regarding your OCs. With the existence of M and now Archel, Maxime is going to have her hands full with all these other Pokemon dorks.
So, ehe, might I be able to inquire if I can see that trope page for Pixels and Polygons? I'm just curious, y'know, it's another way for me to not write this fic and I like murdering time and things made for me / my works as much as the next guy.
If not, it's fine! I just remembered it's a thing and I want to see thing.
Ah, of course! Uh, I meant to share it a while ago, but y'know. School got in the way, there's been real life going on, and I wanted to get up to date on tropes before I fully shared it with you. Mostly because I went all out on this one (it takes up, like, fourteen doc pages, that's almost as much as a General Hilarity story.) and kind of got fangirly.
The link is below. I've set it so that you can edit and everybody else with the link can view. (Mostly because I trust no one with all the trope documents I make, too much hard work goes into them)
Aw, thank you. I put... a lot of thought into this one. Even more so than the previous one. I guess watching it come out and documenting chapters in real time has that effect on me. But, I'm glad you enjoy it. Can't wait to see the next chapter!
